HCW Data App (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a data analytics and visualization application for Shopee sellers. We collect and use data exclusively from the Shopee Open API with your explicit permission as a seller.
The data obtained (such as sales, revenue figures, product and campaign metrics) is used solely to generate interactive dashboards and reports—e.g. revenue charts, best-selling product lists, and marketing performance graphs—to help you make informed business decisions. We only access information necessary for these purposes and do not collect any other data beyond what is required to operate the App.
Authorized Shopee Data
We retrieve only your own shop’s data (orders, sales, products, marketing campaigns) with your consent. This may include order totals, item sales counts, and campaign statistics. We do not collect your customers’ personal information.
No Customer PII
We do not collect or store any personally identifiable information (PII) about individual buyers—such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or payment details. The HCW Data App only processes aggregate business data and explicitly excludes any buyer PII.
Purpose of Use
Collected data is used only to provide and improve HCW Data App’s services. Specifically, we use your Shopee data to:
- Analyze sales trends
- Populate dashboards with charts and reports
- Enhance the App’s features and performance
- We never use your data for any unrelated purposes.
Data Storage and Retention
We store Shopee data only as long as necessary to serve the above purposes. In accordance with Shopee’s data policies, we do not retain any restricted data longer than needed (generally not exceeding 90 days).
When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted. Since no customer PII is collected, there is no long-term storage of sensitive information. All other business data is kept only while you use the App and is deleted or anonymized afterward.
We implement strong security measures, including encryption, secure servers, and access controls, to protect your data. You are responsible for keeping your Shopee account credentials and App passwords secure.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
Your data is treated as confidential. We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your Shopee data with any third parties. All data accessed by HCW Data App stays within the service and is visible only to you and authorized personnel.
The only exceptions are legal obligations or enforcement of our rights, in which case we will comply with applicable law.
Seller Rights and Controls
You have full control over our access to your Shopee data. You may disconnect your Shopee account or revoke access at any time, which stops all future data retrieval. Upon disconnection or your request, we will promptly delete all data collected.
You may also request a complete deletion of stored data at any time. To exercise this right, please contact us using the information below. We will confirm once your data has been removed.
